150 Years Anniversary
St Mark’s Church will have been consecrated for 150 years at 11.30 am on Sunday 24 April 2016. We celebrated on Saturday the 23rd with a reception for VIPs, and photograph sessions for those who have been married at St Marks, and those who have been baptised/comfirmed. Large volumes of tea and coffee were drunk, and many cakes consumed, whilst scores of past and present members of St Mark's re-connected.
Sunday morning 24th we held a celebratory service with Bishop Graham Cray (ex-curate of St Mark's) speaking, followed by a pig roast for more than 300 people.
An audio recording of the service is available HERE. This is simply taken from the outputs to the speakers, so is not balanced like a professional recording and there are a few little gaps.

Photos and other resources from the weekend will also soon be available on this page.
